John 21:17

The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?"

The Last Word: Beyond the Bible Wars to a New Understanding of the Authority of Scripture

by N.T. Wright

As usual, Wright makes good sense, with admonitions for both conservative and liberal Christians.
